Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance Policy (ESG)

Interica is committed to ensuring that in all our dealings with our customers, our suppliers and our staff, we act in a responsible manner to ensure the interests of all parties are respected in a commercial and fair way, whilst maintaining our integrity and professionalism.

Interica has introduced environmental, social and corporate governance (“ESG”) considerations into business decisions and day to day operations. We believe that this approach is critical to creating value for stakeholders and developing a sustainable long term strategy. Interica has therefore integrated the ESG policy into all areas of the way we do business.

The ESG policy and the action points arising from the assessment of this policy will be subject to an annual review by the Executive Board of Interica and the CEO takes overall responsibility for setting and modifying our ESG policy and is responsible for overseeing its implementation.

Our policy covers the following:

  • How we respect the environment.
  • How we interact with our customers.
  • How we work with our suppliers.
  • How we treat our staff.
  • How we ensure a healthy and safe workplace.
  • How we promote community and social interests.

Interica is committed to providing and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for its employees and all other stakeholders in the business, including contractors, clients, visitors and the general public.

Interica is providing a broad range of professional services and products. Interica predominantly supplies the oil and gas industry but also services clients within a broad range of industry sectors. In order to ensure that Interica meets the requirements of its clients, customers and staff, Interica operates an Integrated Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety Management System in conjunction with its overall management controls under the ESG Policy.

The quality element of this integrated management system, which applies to all services and products in each of our offices and locations, is based upon, and conforms with, the requirements of British Standard BS EN ISO 9001:2008, and controls, by way of documented procedures, all activities that are critical to the achievement of specified quality.
